Our Editorial Standards
ReadNextList is built around a single standard: stories and books that sit comfortably on a family bookshelf. That means uplifting, clean-ish fiction across all speculative genres — science fiction, fantasy, alternate history, time travel, and more.
We look for:

- · Hopeful, purposeful, or emotionally resonant stories
- · Clean language (mild expressions are fine)
- · Dark themes handled with care
We pass on:
- · Graphic or gratuitous violence
- · Explicit sexual content
- · Horror or psychological terror
- · Strong profanity
